About Me and My Future

Hi my name is George Collins, i am a 2nd year student studying 3D Design at university Portsmouth. I chose 3D Design because I enjoy Creating something from nothing and to be proud to construct and build for a practical use.

I'm 20 years old with alot of enthusiasm to design and make, when i have an idea i push to see it through. Having a creative mind is a must have in 3D Design because a creative mind allows your ideas to run wild even if they might be a little optimistic.

After university i wish to persue a career within furniture design, product design or perhaps after gaining experience from different design companies become a designer-maker and open up a studio of my own.

Within summer 2009 i would like to gain work experience from a few design companies to find out what the real industry is really like, to become a team member, to see an idea through and make it happen.
